THE ADVENTURE

A journey across the med.

So it all starts with getting a yacht built in the port of La Rochelle, France.  The vessel was always intended to be put into charter, but back in Australia.  Like any good adventures, things cross your path and plans have to change, so instead of bringing it all the way back to Australia we decided to launch Satellite in Europe for charter in Greece, Croatia or Montenegro.

To date Satellite has travelled along the Atlantic coast of France, down along the Spanish and Portuguese coast, through the Gibraltar straits and along the Spanish, French and Italian Mediterranean coasts.  Satellite then crossed the Adriatic sea into the bay of Montenegro. The journey has ben long and mixed with the usual trials and tribulations clocking in at about 4900nm (9075km or 5638Mi)

Along the entire journey, the yacht has been exceptional, well maintained, cared for and loved.  She now wait for you to add to your adventure and continue the journey.

THE OFFER

The journey starts here.

Satellite is currently looking to join a charter company as a new offer, designed to make your holiday comfortable and enjoyable. This is not camping on water, rather a hotel that you can take with you to explore new places, hang out with friends and share with family.

The charter season typically runs from April to October, but from our experience so far some of the best sailing has also been done in November, December and January if you don't mind a mix of mild and cool.

Extra low - April to start of May

Low - May to start of June

Mid - June

High - July - August

Mid - September

Low - October

European holidays mainly run in August and it tends to get busier than the other months, but if you want to escape a winter, it is the time to go.
